Size Standard
The per-NAICS revenue or headcount cap that defines whether you are a "small business."
A size standard is the cap, set by the SBA for each NAICS code, that defines "small business." It is either a revenue cap (for example, janitorial is roughly $22M average annual receipts) or an employee cap (many manufacturing codes: 500–1,500 employees).
Crucially, "small" is not one number. A company can be small under one NAICS code and large under another, which affects which set-asides it can chase.
